Heat demand covered, floor by floor

A heat pump proposal now says plainly how much of the property's heat demand the proposed emitters cover: for the whole property in the system design section, and for each floor above the room-by-room breakdown. Pulling a Spruce Eco survey into the proposal in the first place is quicker too.

New​

  • A heat demand covered badge on each floor. It sets the proposed emitter output against that floor's heat loss, and is coloured green from 100%, amber from 70%, and red below that.
  • Search, a stage filter, and status when you pick a Spruce Eco job. In the list behind Refresh from Spruce Eco, each job shows its stage as a status badge. You can filter by stage, or search by reference, name, customer, address, or postcode.

Improved​

  • The heat demand covered figure is worked out from the proposed emitters and the property's total heat loss, and is coloured the same way as the floor badges. Where the survey does not carry enough detail to calculate it, the figure is left out rather than shown as a misleading number.
  • The room-by-room card always appears. On a floor where nothing changes it reads "No changes proposed" instead of disappearing.
  • A design with more than one heat pump or cylinder is listed in full in the summary section, and each one can be renamed and re-badged when you edit that section.
  • Draft surveys import with prices. Where a survey has no finalised quote attached to it, heat pump and cylinder prices are calculated from the design using the cost and mark-up held against that equipment, instead of importing unpriced.
  • Design outdoor temperature follows the survey, including the 2026 CIBSE weather zones and their altitude correction, and drops a further degree where the survey records the property as an exposed location.
