November 2025
Proposals took most of the month. You can price a proposal from a list of line items, show the yearly savings and the return on them, and open with a proper cover page. Elsewhere, Extras moved out of the individual quote tools into one shared library, and your customers can find their paperwork in folders.
note
Compiled retrospectively from the changes released this month. It covers the most significant changes rather than everything.
Proposals
- Price a proposal from its line items. The pricing block is built on a bill of materials — line items with quantities and costs — with separate controls for markup, tax, grouping, and how much of that detail your customer sees. You can also paste text from an email, a supplier quote or a specification and have the line items, quantities and prices pulled out for you to check before they land in the block.
- Savings and return on investment. A General savings block records the yearly savings you are claiming, and a Return on investment block turns them into a payback picture over time.
- More ways to open and explain a proposal. Four new blocks: Cover, a hero page with the title, address and an introduction; Message card, a personal note alongside a team member's profile; Products (no pricing), product highlights that leave the price alone; and Steps, a numbered timeline of what happens next.
Quote Tools
- Custom content and layout for one quote tool. Each quote tool has an Override Global Layout switch. Turn it on to take a copy of your global layout and change it for that tool alone, leaving your other tools as they are.
- Fewer outdoor unit questions on the Air Con Quote Tool. Under Defaults, switch off the position, clearance and indoor-to-outdoor distance questions if you would rather settle those at survey. The same page gained a Cooling load buffer (kW) setting, and the tool now repeats a smaller outdoor unit instead of reaching for an oversized one.
Pricing and catalogue
- Extras are now a shared library. Build an Extra once under Packages & Pricing, in Extras, then pick it into whichever quote tools should offer it, rather than recreating it in each one.
Customer Portal
- Folders in the Document Library. Upload documents against a contact in the Installer Portal and sort them into folders, and your customer sees the same folders in their Document Library. You can drag several files in at once.
Email
- Emails for deposit and installation payments. Two templates, Quote Deposit Paid and Quote Installation Paid, go out when your customer pays. Email wording also gained a
{quotePrice}variable, so you can quote the price back to them in the body of the message.
