Heat pump savings and CO₂ ranges cover both efficiency figures
If you build heat pump proposals from a Spruce Eco survey, the savings and CO₂ figures your customer reads are now worked out across both efficiency assumptions the survey itself uses: the manufacturer's seasonal efficiency and the MCS seasonal performance factor at your design flow temperature. The cautious end of each range is more cautious than it was.

- Savings and CO₂ ranges include the MCS seasonal performance factor. They previously used the manufacturer's figures alone, which made the low end of each range more optimistic than the survey's own numbers. Both the annual bill saving range and the CO₂ tonne range change as a result.
- The headline CO₂ reduction percentage matches the tonnes beside it. In the running costs section, the percentage and the tonne figure now both come from the cautious end of the range, rather than pairing an optimistic percentage with a cautious tonnage. The summary still shows the full range.
- Oil, LPG, coal and biomass prices convert at full precision. The price per litre or per kilogram is turned into a pence-per-kWh rate without being rounded first, so the current running cost the heat pump is compared against is slightly more accurate.
