A mobile menu and a progress bar in the Commercial Solar Quote Tool

On a phone, the steps of the Commercial Solar Quote Tool now sit behind a menu that opens as a sheet, and a progress bar shows your customer how far through they are. Roofs are always drawn by hand: the tool no longer scans the property and draws the first roof for them.

New​

  • A menu built for phones. On a small screen the steps open as a sheet from a burger menu, and the sheet closes when a step is picked.
  • A progress bar across the steps. It fills as your customer completes each step and reaches 100% when they accept.

Improved​

  • Commercial solar quotes load and save faster. The full chart data now travels only for the package your customer has chosen, rather than for every package on offer.
  • Roofs are always drawn by hand. A new design starts empty rather than being seeded from an automatic roof scan. The Auto-draw first roof setting, and the panel target that went with it, have gone from Defaults.
  • The Layout tab has gone from Commercial Solar Quote Tool configuration. Commercial quotes never rendered the custom blocks it configured.

Fixed​

  • Typing a product description no longer moves the cursor. In Hardware Catalogue, the caret was reset as you typed.
