September 2025

Proposals became something you can run from end to end this month: assign one to a customer, publish it, share it, and have them accept it in their portal. Finance options moved out of each quote tool into a single list your tools draw from. The Installer Portal also picked up a new sidebar, with quotes grouped under the tool that produced them.

note

Compiled retrospectively from the changes released this month. It covers the most significant changes rather than everything.

Proposals

  • Publish a proposal, share it, and see what happens next. Assign a proposal to one of your customers, publish it, and send them a link. An activity log on the proposal records what has happened to it since.
  • Blocks for the figures behind a solar quote. Bill reduction and export, self-consumption, savings before and after, the energy bill over time, and the net benefit of paying by finance are each a block you can add to a proposal. Pricing tables can carry images alongside the lines they price.
  • Editing and styling happen beside the proposal. Block editing and style settings open in a side sheet, and the editor previews the result rather than making you publish to see it.

Customer Portal

  • Your customer reads and accepts a proposal in their portal. A published proposal appears in their list, and they can accept it there. The details you already hold are filled into the acceptance section for them, and signing in takes them to the page they were heading for rather than the portal home.

Quote Tools

  • Two more settings for how you ask for contact details. Turn off gentle nudge removes the prompt asking your customer for contact details when you are not protecting prices. Make phone number an optional field lets them carry on without giving a phone number.
  • Scottish heat pump quotes name the right grant. A quote for a property in Scotland refers to the Home Energy Scotland grant rather than the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, on screen and in the printed version.

Pricing and catalogue

  • Finance Options is now a section of its own. Find it under Settings, in Packages & Pricing. Set a finance option up once and assign it to whichever quote tools should offer it, instead of configuring it inside each tool. An option can also carry a fixed annual rate of interest, which the finance calculator shows your customer.
  • An automatically added Extra can be locked. Where an Extra is added to the quote for your customer, Can be removed from quote decides whether they can take it off again. It starts switched off, so the Extra stays on the quote unless you say otherwise.

Day to day

  • A new sidebar in the Installer Portal. Quotes sit under Instant Quotes, grouped by the tool that produced them, and those links open on quotes that have contact details. Pricing Models, Proposals and service plan agreements page through their results instead of loading in one go.
