July 2026

July went to the numbers your customers see. The Boiler Upgrade Scheme oil and LPG uplift is always applied now, and solar output figures follow the panel wattage of the package your customer picks. Heat pump proposals gained a floor-plan view of which emitters change in which rooms, Proposals came out of beta, and Cal.com joined the connectors.

note

Compiled retrospectively from the changes released this month. It covers the most significant changes rather than everything.

Quote Tools

  • The Boiler Upgrade Scheme oil and LPG uplift always counts. A property replacing oil or LPG gets £9,000 in the Heat Pump Quote Tool — £7,500 plus the £1,500 uplift. The uplift used to be flagged as expected later in 2026 and could be switched off on your account. Both have gone, and the amount taken off the price now matches the amount shown.
  • Solar output follows the panels in the package. The Solar Quote Tool now says which panel wattage its output figures are based on: a provisional 445W before your customer picks a package, then the wattage of the panel in the package they pick. The output is worked out again whenever that wattage changes, so the figures no longer stay put after a package change.
  • The roof editor fills in pitch, and prompts you as you draw. Where pitch data exists for the property, a roof section you draw starts at that pitch with its gutter edge set to match, and the editor says on screen that it has pitch data to work from. A panel by the drawing tools tells you what to do next — place the next corner, click the first corner to finish, click an edge to mark the gutter. Auto-draw panel target, a new setting on the Solar Quote Tool, caps how many panels are placed automatically on the first roof.

Proposals

  • Emitter changes, room by room, on a floor plan. A heat pump proposal built from a Spruce Eco survey can carry an Emitters before and after section: counts of new, replaced, retained and removed radiators and underfloor heating, the flow temperature before and after, and a plan of each floor showing where each emitter sits. Your customer picks a floor to see its plan and the changes to each of its rooms, and can turn on Show pipework to see the pipe runs, manifolds and fittings.
  • Battery management figures from an Easy PV import. A Battery management section charts the charge and discharge windows against the import tariff, then sets import cost, export income, net bill and annual saving side by side for each way of running the battery. Easy PV imports also bring optimisers across as products in their own right, alongside panels, inverters and batteries.
  • Proposals is out of beta. The badge has gone from the Proposals screen.

Integrations

  • Connect Cal.com. Link your Cal.com account under Connectors, then set the event link in a quote tool's acceptance settings or on a proposal's acceptance step. Saving the event link registers a webhook for that event type, so a booking your customer makes comes back to the quote or proposal.

Email

  • Nudge a customer who saved a quote and never accepted it. On Customer-Facing Scheduled Emails, add a Quote saved not accepted nudge and set how many days after your customer last touched the quote it should go out.
