Separate CRM settings for customer and installer quotes
Your CRM settings now keep the quotes your customers run apart from the quotes you run yourself, so the two can land in different pipelines with different owners. Proposal sync has also changed shape: a proposal event updates a CRM record you have linked to it, and never creates a new deal on its own.
New
- Customer-created and installer-created quotes have their own settings. In HubSpot settings, GoHighLevel settings, Zoho settings and Payaca V2 Settings, choose Customer-created quotes or Installer-created quotes above the quote type tabs. Each side keeps its own owners, pipelines, stages and trigger events. There is no fallback, so if you leave the installer side empty, the quotes you create yourself do not sync.
- Link a CRM deal while you create a proposal. The proposal creation form and the invoice PDF wizard both let you pick an existing HubSpot deal, Zoho deal or GoHighLevel opportunity, so a new proposal has something to sync to.
- Extra HubSpot field mappings. Map fields from a quote or proposal onto HubSpot contact and deal properties, choosing the property from your HubSpot list. The deal fields we already wrote to HubSpot now appear as mappings you can change or remove.
Improved
- Proposal events update the deal you linked. Proposal sync no longer creates deals or opportunities. Each stage rule carries its own pipeline alongside the event and stage, and the move only runs when the linked record is already in that pipeline.
- Every quote event writes a contact note in HubSpot and GoHighLevel, not only the events that create a deal or opportunity.
- GoHighLevel settings talk about opportunities, not deals, matching what you see in GoHighLevel.
- Fields and buttons of the same size share one height, so a row of controls lines up. Connector mapping and stage rows stay aligned when one column shows a validation message.
Fixed
- A Zoho stage move runs whether the pipeline is recorded as a name or an id. Deals you pick now store their pipeline, so a proposal event still moves the deal when Zoho returns the pipeline as a label.
