Most of the product looks different. Text fields, dropdowns, checkboxes, buttons, address lookups and almost every popup have been rebuilt to one consistent design, across the quote tools your customers use, the proposal editor, the Installer Portal, and the forms your customers complete when they accept. Nothing has moved in the sidebar, and quoting, pricing and CRM behaviour are unchanged. Two things do change underneath the new look: your team can send proposal and quote emails from their own address, and OpenSolar imports no longer arrive without roofs.

The emails your team receives when a quote, proposal, or service plan agreement moves have been rebuilt. Details are grouped into labelled sections, fields with nothing in them are left out rather than printed as "Not provided", and quote notifications now say whether the quote was built by your customer or by someone in the Installer Portal. Nothing your customers receive has changed.

July went to the numbers your customers see. The Boiler Upgrade Scheme oil and LPG uplift is always applied now, and solar output figures follow the panel wattage of the package your customer picks. Heat pump proposals gained a floor-plan view of which emitters change in which rooms, Proposals came out of beta, and Cal.com joined the connectors.

March went to proposals. You can start one from instant quotes you have already produced, price it with blocks that pull hardware straight from your catalogue, and set out the property, its EPC and the grants on offer without writing any of it by hand. Acceptance moved too: every quote tool now has a single Acceptance screen in place of the old Deposit and Calendar screens.

December is the month proposals became something you can find. Proposals now appears in the Installer Portal marked Beta, and you can build one from an Easy PV project instead of from scratch. Underneath it sit a pricing table you assemble line by line, followers so your colleagues get the notifications too, and a layout that holds up on a phone.

Proposals took most of the month. You can price a proposal from a list of line items, show the yearly savings and the return on them, and open with a proper cover page. Elsewhere, Extras moved out of the individual quote tools into one shared library, and your customers can find their paperwork in folders.
